The bishop starts out with a disclaimer that he isn't talking about Democrats but about specific Catholics who are Democrats. He first gives his critique about Nancy Pelosi and then goes on to talk about what Senator Biden said today...

This new venture into the New Evangelization, btw, is being put forward by Michael Voris. If you're not familiar with who he is, you might check out some of the free Catholic audio put out by my fellow Notre Dame alum. If you've got the stomach for what he has to say, you'll understand better the phrase "work out your salvation with fear and trembling." That's a vital part of our faith, and if we're complacent or not trembling when we consider the judgment then we're probably not doing it right. Remember, as Peter Kreeft says, there are only two kinds of people in the world: (1) Saints who know that they're sinners, and (2) sinners who think that they're Saints.

Just FYI, there are some free e-books and MP3s up over at Bridegroom Press on some rather diverse topics. Presently, they have a few on Islam, a couple on the Da Vinci Code and several Theology of the Body lectures.

I don't know anything about her, but since I found her on the Semper Vita blog I'm positive she'll be top-notch (since the blog offers little else). Also speaking at the conference was Fr.
