I couldn't believe the commentator made the "both sides" statement! Can't he see this elderly woman was being pushed and shoved? Goes to show the protesters are on the WRONG side, if they desecrate a cross AND disrespect an OLD WOMAN!!!!

What is needed in this country is sometype of regulation of the news media.

The "both sides" refers to the fact that the woman went there of her own accord, brandishing a cross, and told an entire group of people that they're going to hell. The woman invited upon herself whatever happened.
I'm a Catholic who is against Prop 8 and any other gay marriage ban. It's time for Catholics as a whole to wake up and realize that homosexuality is not a sin, and anyone who says so doesn't understand the nature of sin. Even if you do believe it to be so, how can people have the free will to choose God if we ban "gay marriage" or abortion and the like?
Fascism is looming but is thankfully being shot down (by the gays of all people).

I honor human free will. For it is from God Almighty. However, to call yourself Catholic and deny that homosexual acts are not intrinsically sinful doesn't make sense. Now if you're speaking of homosexual urges and/or inclinations, you're right. Such things aren't themselves sinful. Same sex physical intimacy, however, is indeed, by its very nature, sinful.

2nd anonymous, you take your values from the world not from the Catholic Church. You are quite in this world and of it. How can you possibly claim to be Catholic?
How can people have the free will to choose God if we ban "gay marriage" or abortion and the like?
Lets try to get under the radar of your blindness by applying some simply variations How can people have the free will to choose God if we ban murder, prostitution, rape, ...... need I go on.

correction- I meant to say:
"However, to call yourself Catholic and deny that homosexual acts ARE intrinsically sinful wouldn't make sense."
The Catholic Church has defined such acts as inherently sinful. Once our terms are defined clearly, then a thoughtful conversation can take place.

If you see a product review on this site it's because the Catholic Company is giving me stuff to do it. They don't ask me to be kind, but I do get stuff. FYI.
