UPDATE: I gave this a listen and I'm not sure it's worth your time. Ms. Bunting self-describes as coming from a Secularist-Buddhist-Catholic tradition with much agnosticism about her Catholicism (specifically, the Virgin Birth). Needless to say, Dawkins trounces her. But...if you have a kind of morbid curiosity to see a post-Vatican II-type radical inclusivist get her hat handed to her...this is definitely the debate for you. In a word, this debate demonstrates clearly why liberals are spiritual mules -- they don't reproduce. No one in their right mind would buy what she's selling.

From Wikipedia:
Madeline Bunting: Born in Oswaldkirk, North Yorkshire, Bunting was educated at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, where she read History, and won a Knox postgraduate fellowship to study Politics and teach at Harvard. After a period working for Brooks Productions (1988-89) she joined The Guardian taking up posts as a news reporter, leader writer, religious affairs editor, associate editor and regular columnist. Bunting is noted for her advocacy of religious belief from a liberal position and her antipathy to atheism, claiming that atheists' antipathy to religion makes it impossible for them to criticise religion effectively.

Samuel Skinner
Right- and here anpathy to totalitarianism makes it impossible for her to critique communism, facism and domianionalism effectively... wait, no it doesn't.
Sam,
Without hearing her presentation, I'm inclined to agree with you. However, I think the prudent thing to do would be to hear her argument before dumping a bucket of sarcasm on it.
Just a thought.
God Bless,
