Here are links to various translations of the Bible in MP3 format. My preferred translation is the RSV-CE, which is what the Holy See uses in magisterial documents, but it's still under copyright so I won't find any free audio. Same goes for the NAB. That being the case, the following are all Protestant translations -- with that understanding, don't expect to hear "full of grace" in Luke 1:28, etc., etc. Expect some bias. Example: In the NIV, the same Greek word for "tradition" (paradosis) is translated as "tradition" whenever it's spoken of negatively (e.g. Matthew 15:3, Colossians 2:8) and "teachings" whenever it's spoken of positively (1 Corinthians 11:2, 2 Thessalonians 2:15, 3:6).
That in mind, these translations are not all bad -- some are quite beautiful. Just remember that they're not always exceedingly accurate.

Hi
Another audio Bible that is getting ready to release on October 2nd is The Word of Promise New Testament. It features Jim Caviezel as Jesus, Stacey Keach, Richard Dreyfuss, Marisa Tomei and 120 other actors. Completely dramatized so there is no one just reading the text. It was designed like a feature film without the picture. If you want to see more on this visit the official website www.thewordofpromise.com.
Hope this is useful for you an those reading your article.
Thanks
Rodney
