If you're even somewhat into the Apologetics scene, you've probably heard of some of our more scandalous popes - Honorius, Zosimus, etc. There have been some pretty bad folks -- adulterers, murderers, ding-bats...I mean, even Peter denied Christ (thrice!) and withdrew from the Gentiles. Impeccable (sinless)? Hardly! But through all this, not one has ever solemnly taught erroneous doctrine. 2000 years and not once! Truly, it is the work of God!
